So, you’d like to get to know us...

the change-makers of special education.

Ahhh! We couldn’t be more excited that you’ve found us. We are a team of parents (who have children diagnosed with a defined disability), special educators and disability advocates, technology innovators, and experts who have united to create a long awaited community and solution to the education and empowerment crisis that currently affects special education families.

We love our children and we never want any child to hear that they aren’t enough, nor that they deserve any less in their education than any other child. Our mission has become to connect parents of special education in a way that has never, ever been done before.

We know unity is VITAL;
empowerment is CRUCIAL;
privacy is ESSENTIAL;
knowledge is POWER;
and a secure, dedicated platform to share with you and other SpEd parents is the way to educate, empower, and engage parents to support their children and fight for long-term systemic change within the Special Education system across the 13,000 school districts in the United States.

We’re the change-makers of special education — and we can’t wait for you to be a part of our journey.

our story

We are parents whose passion for special education initially grew from our children’s disabilities that went undiagnosed by some of the finest school districts in the United States. Frustrated by the school district’s lack of responsiveness, we filed State Complaints which triggered district-wide reviews of the schools’ special education policies. Over the course of three years, we spoke at Board of Education meetings and locked arms with other special needs families who had similar experiences. Our outspokenness drew media coverage and attracted many calls from families across the country, seeking advice on how best to deal with their own children’s special education situations. Though we have worked tirelessly to catalyze changes for thousands of special needs families, the significant retaliation our children faced for years by the very people who were supposed to help them was indisputable. We vowed to make positive change for families across the United States, so that no other family would ever have to face the kind of adversity that has so deeply affected our families.
